Astronomy Photographer of the Year 2017
2017 was the ninth year of the Insight Astronomy Photographer of the Year competition, hosted by the Royal Observatory, Greenwich. Almost four thousand amazing images were submitted from 91 countries (covering all seven continents).
Each year the Royal Observatory creates a short planetarium show to showcase some of the best entries to the competition, and tries to distribute it as widely as possible. Hopefully, to inspire others to join in, so we can see their entries in years to come!
