Teacher feedback after 60 Reception children experienced a 5m digital dome adventure with the 2-in-1 Performance, Principia ISS visuals, various Apollo & search for life content and the 360° film Space Shapes:
"I can’t thank you enough for such a high-quality, well-presented show that was both entertaining and informative for the children. You pitched it perfectly – being at a level they could understand whilst deepening their knowledge (and mine!) about Space. I think the part about life on the Space Station particularly captured their imagination, and there has been lots of astronaut role-play from both boys and girls all day! I was very proud of the children’s behaviour and engagement, and amazed at their level of knowledge.
Here are some of my favourite quotes:
- ‘This has got to be the best day of my life!’
- ‘That meteorite was so heavy, wow!’
- ‘I want to be an astronaut when I grow up’ (one of the girls)
- ‘Do you know if it doesn’t twinkle it’s not a star, it’s a planet!’
"I was so impressed with the quality of the visual effects which brought the topic fully to life without being too overwhelming, and with Mario who completely engaged the children for a whole 45 minutes - giving them a chance to contribute and ask questions"
